I spent years as a Solutions Architect at Databricks, working with the largest financial services firms in the country — designing data architectures, building AI proof-of-concepts, and helping enterprises operationalize machine learning. I saw the same pattern everywhere: brilliant AI demos that never made it to production.
The gap was not technical. It was the intersection of regulatory constraints, legacy data systems, governance requirements, and organizational readiness. Most consulting firms brought generic AI skills. Financial services needed someone who understood both sides.
